Indie Rock and Roll band The Royalty is Nicole Boudreau, Jesus Apodaca, Daniel Marin, Will Daugherty, and Joel Quintana. The Royalty burst into the El Paso, TX indie music scene and have developed a strong, loyal following.

The Royalty have toured throughout the Mid-West and West Coast, and have played official showcases at Austin's SXSW. They have performed at The Viper Room, Detroit Bar, Knitting Factory, and Beauty Bar San Diego. They were a featured artist at the first annual Neon Desert Music Festival alongside national acts Beach Fossils, CSS, Omar Rodrgiguez Lopez Group, and many others.

The band independently released an EP in 2008 and full length in 2010. Their EP was recorded almost entirely in Cd. Juarez, Chih. Their full length record was recorded in El Paso, TX and Cd. Juárez, Chih., in apartments, closets, and bedrooms. It was mixed professionaly by Justin Leeah at Sonic Ranch Studios in Canutillo, Texas. Their music has been featured on MTV and Spike TV shows.

In 2011, The Royalty wrote and recorded 11 songs at Clap of Thunder (owned and operated by Jim Ward of At the Drive In, Sparta, Sleepercar) in El Paso, TX. They have since signed with Victory Records, and will record and release a new record in early 2012. The Royalty will be touring nationally in support of their new album in 2012.
